A highly regarded international speaker and participant at Mx3 events, Jean Paul Reparon, Managing Director of AgriMedia, announces a further acquisition to Agrimedia’s portfolio. Congratulations from all of us at Mx3.
In a strategic move, AgriMedia Wageningen has acquired ‘Wijn en Wijngaard‘, a leading publication for professional and hobbyist winemakers in the Netherlands and Flanders, from Odekerken Holding. For over 30 years, ‘Wijn en Wijngaard’ has provided essential information to winemakers through its quarterly magazine, website, social media channels, and digital newsletter.
The acquisition is part of AgriMedia’s broader strategy to expand its portfolio into niche markets with a strong agricultural focus. The deal includes all media channels associated with ‘Wijn en Wijngaard’, ensuring that the publication continues to serve its dedicated audience under AgriMedia’s stewardship. The acquisition includes a quarterly trade magazine, the website wijnenwijngaard.nl, social media, as well as a digital newsletter.
Jean Paul Reparon, Managing Director of AgriMedia, says, “With the acquisition of ‘Wine and Vineyard’ (Wijn en Wijngaard) we are expanding our portfolio and entering a new market that aligns well with our existing brands. Due to climate change, it is becoming increasingly interesting to cultivate wine in the Netherlands and Belgium.
With our mission of ‘knowledge that makes you better’, we aim to continuously provide professional and hobbyist winemakers with independent expert information, enabling them to improve their craft or hobby.

“In our search for a new publisher, our criteria were: quality, niche markets, agricultural focus, and a certain scale. The Wageningen-based publisher of professional information, AgriMedia, meets these criteria and is therefore the best partner for ‘Wine and Vineyard’ (Wijn en Wijngaard). We are confident that our readers and advertisers will benefit from this,” says Dominique Odekerken, Director of J.E.D. Odekerken Holding B.V.
